Role overview
We're hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for Align - from prospecting high-growth teams to closing enterprise deals. You'll demo Align's task alignment platform to engineering, product, and operations leaders, articulate our unique value, and drive adoption across startups and scale-ups. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for someone who thrives on winning new business.

Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, demos, negotiations, and closing

  • Build and manage your pipeline through outbound campaigns and inbound leads

  • Conduct product demos showcasing Align's real-time sync and automation capabilities

  • Develop champion relationships with technical buyers and decision-makers

  • Collaborate with solutions engineers for complex technical evaluations

  • Forecast accurately and hit quarterly revenue targets

  • Maintain meticulous CRM records and sales activity documentation

  • Share customer insights to shape product roadmap and go-to-market strategy

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (AE or SDR promotion track record)

  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in SaaS environment

  • Excellent discovery and demo skills with technical products

  • Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence

  • Comfortable with consultative, solution-focused sales approach

  • Experience selling to engineering, product, or operations leaders

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales tools

  • Self-motivated hunter comfortable with ambiguity

Bonus:

  • Experience selling developer tools, productivity platforms, or workflow automation

  • Background working with fast-moving startups or scale-up companies

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, etc.)

  • Technical aptitude to demo complex sync integrations
